Evanescence Hire New Bandmembers

Rockers EVANESCENCE have recruited two new bandmembers, poaching drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Troy MCLawhorn from rival band Dark New Day. The pair replace Rocky Gray and John LeCompt, who left the band earlier this month (May07) amid rumours they were sacked by frontwoman Amy Lee. Lee tells MTV.com of the new additions, "I am a big fan of Dark New Day and can't wait for the fans to see what the guys bring to our live show." The new line-up will be unveiled at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio this weekend (19May07).
