Evan Rachel Wood Struggled With Nude Scenes
Evan Rachel Wood says she has Kate Winslet to thank for helping her film nude scenes in the forthcoming mini-series 'Mildred Pierce'.Evan Rachel Wood, the American actress who wowed fans with a sharp new look at yesterday's 'Mildred Pierce' premiere, says she credits Kate Winslet for helping her film nude scenes, reports E! News.The highly anticipated new project follows the story of a divorced single mother, played by Winslet, who decides to open her own restaurant. However, her daughter Veda, played by Wood, is against the idea and the mother-daughter relationship becomes strained. When quizzed on how she prepared for her nude scenes, Wood said her co-star helped her relax, saying, "She coached me through my first nude scene. I mean, she's done it all. She was literally next to the camera going thumbs-up". The 'Titanic' actress later spoke to US Magazine about how she helped Wood, saying, "You keep the room as empty as possible. Just kind of being there for her, really, and letting her know there was someone to hold her hand and throw a robe over her at the right moment...made her feel better".
'Mildred Pierce', starring Evan Rachel Wood, Kate Winslet and Morgan Turner is set to premiere on HBO later this year.
