Eva Longoria - Eva Longoria, "I'm Just Friends With Matt Barnes"

Her representative immediately denied talk of a romance after the 36-year-old Desperate Housewives star was spotted with Matt, but the actress has since taken to Twitter to tell her side of the story. Writing on Sunday (30th October 2011), Eva told her 2.5 million followers, "First Jessica Simpson, now this.Matt Barnes and I are not dating. We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs. Cancer". The actress was referring to the intense media speculation that singer Jessica is pregnant with her first child. Pressure has been building on the pop star to announce she is expecting after a series of photographs that appear to show her baby-bump. Although not dating Longoria, Matt Barnes is currently single after announcing his split from 'Basketball Wives' reality star Gloria Gavin. He was arrested in September for domestic violence, which he has since blamed on a misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Longoria is reportedly still going strong with Penelope Cruz's brother Eduardo Cruz - the pair were first spotted together last winter on Miami Beach.

After news that Desperate Housewives is set to be axed, Eva has signed on for numerous movie projects, including the forthcoming drama-thriller 'The Truth', with FOREST WHITAKER.
