Eva Longoria's divorce from Tony Parker was finalised on Friday (28.01.11) after the pair agreed to end their marriage in Texas, the state where they signed their prenuptial agreement.
Eva Longoria's divorce from Tony Parker has been finalised.
The 'Desperate Housewives' actress filed legal separation papers against the San Antonio Spurs basketball ace - who she was married to for just over three years - in November and the union was legally dissolved in Texas on Friday (28.01.11).
Speaking on Friday, a source told In Touch Weekly magazine: "The divorce documents will come through today, she is happy and moving forward with her life."
Although the 35-year-old star originally filed her divorce papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court, both parties decided Texas was the right place for the divorce to be conducted because their prenuptial agreement was signed in the US state.
Tony's lawyer was spotted in a Texas courthouse at the end of last week with legal papers which officially ended the marriage.
Despite her personal problems, Eva still appeared at the Screen Actors' Guild Awards last night (31.01.11) to present a prize.
The actress posted a message on her twitter account last week thanking her fans for their continued support.
She wrote: "I have to say thank U to everyone who keeps sending me love, it is amazing to read all of your messages and truly makes me smile. Thank U! (sic)."
Eva is reportedly dating singer Eduardo Cruz, the 25-year-old brother of Penelope Cruz.
