Estevez Praises Lohan's Commitment
BOBBY director Emilio Estevez has spoken out in defence of Lindsay Lohan, praising her commitment to the movie in the face of stinging criticism from co-stars.
William H Macy reportedly described the Mean Girls actress' lack of time-keeping as "disrespectful" to the film's crew and cast, but Estevez insists his young star gave her all in her role as a politically motivated bride.
He says, "She really dug into it and was so committed. Lindsay came to this wanting to be a part of something bigger.
"It wasn't about just putting her name on something. She really believed in this and we were lucky to have her."
