'Essex' Star Arg Snapped Devouring Late Night Mcdonalds

The Only Way is Essex star James 'Arg' Argent heroically finished the London Marathon on Sunday (April 22, 2012) to the delight of his cast-mates and sponsors, but it seems the gruelling 26 mile run was too much for the 24-year-old, reports the UK's Metro newspaper.

Arg had been boasting about his weight loss following six weeks of intense marathon training, but he was spotted indulging in a late night burger at MCDonalds with a female friend, just hours after the marathon. The reality star attempted to shield his face from photographers, but his disguise didn't work, and his signature burgundy blazer and black trousers were there for all to see. During Wednesday's (April 25, 2012), episode of The Only Way is Essex (filmed the day of the marathon), Arg had boasted to a friend that he could do better than his former girlfriend Lydia and would begin to look for love elsewhere.

The episode was reportedly the scene of Lauren Goodger's almighty bust-up with show producers, though it wasn't shown on television. Goodger has allegedly become angry after filming of her scenes was pushed back, and producers have now temporarily axed her from the show. In an interview with Exclusivetv.co.uk (owned by her manger Max Clifford), Lauren said, "There's been some issues which are currently being looked into while TOWIE's on a break. That's all I can say at the moment unfortunately".
