Esposito Left Apartment When Homeless Man Spied On Her
Esposito, who grew up in nearby Brooklyn, moved into her first apartment in the-then crime-ridden neighbourhood in the '90s.
But the Crash star feared for her safety when she found out a homeless man, who had just been released from prison, had been spying on her and her flatmate - and then broke into their apartment.
Esposito says, "We had a landing outside of our window and we found a man living out there and watching us for about two weeks...
"One day he tried to get in the building and someone called the cops... He had just been released from a detention facility two weeks prior.
"So I left the East Village at that point."
