Theatre producer Eric Nederlander turned himself in to authorities on Monday night (21May12) after allegedly violating his girlfriend's restraining order, according to a U.S. report.
The theatre boss was hit with a protection order from Nancy Okun last autumn (11) but in January (12) he violated the terms when he allegedly let himself into her New York apartment, pulled her hair and demanded to know if she was cheating on him. He was subsequently charged with one count of felony contempt of court.
A judge warned Nederlander he would be jailed if he broke the order again, but, on Monday he did just that and he arrived at the Sixth Precinct to accept his punishment.
