British rockers ENGINEERS have sparked fears of a break-up after cancelling all of their upcoming gigs.
The four-piece was due to play a series of shows across the U.K. later this month (Nov09) and in December (09).
But they've asked ticket-holders to apply for a refund because the concerts have been cancelled and they have no plans to reschedule.
A statement on the group's MySpace page reads, "It is with much disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of all of our forthcoming gigs. Due to some unavoidable personal circumstances we cannot perform the gigs with our full line-up and we feel that this would not do justice to our recorded work.
"Many apologies to those who have bought tickets and arranged transport and accommodation, and also to everyone involved in the organisation of them. We really appreciate your support and hope that you can obtain adequate refunds. There are no plans to reschedule the gigs at the present time. Sorry for any inconvenience."
There's very much a strength of conviction in remaining what you were, but arguably more so in becoming what you want to be.
