Holly Valance - Engaged Valance Not Rushing Into Motherhood

British property tycoon Nick Candy proposed to the Kiss Kiss hitmaker in December (11), getting down on bended knee on a beach as the words "Will You Marry Me" were spelled out in flames nearby.

They have already decided not to rush down the aisle as they want to enjoy the upcoming summertime in the U.K., where the Olympics and Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee are both taking place.

And now Valance admits she has no plans to become a mum in the near future so she can continue to enjoy her husband's undivided attention.

Asked if she's planning to start a family, Valance tells Britain's Daily Mail, "Not for a while - I don't want to share Nick with anybody!

"Families are complicated and full of angst and issues at the best of times. Where there are close relatives there are always problems. So a baby introduces a new dimension I'm not ready for yet."
