The Harry Potter star hails from the same region of England as Middleton as they both grew up in the Home Counties, and Watson admits she sympathises with the bride-to-be as she makes final preparations to marry her royal fiance with the whole world watching.

Watson tells the Associated Press, "Poor girl. That must be an incredible amount of pressure. I hope she's enjoying it. Must be intense."

It comes just days after Middleton herself admitted she is suffering pre-wedding jitters as she prepares to exchange vows with the prince on 29 April (11). The couple made its last public appearance before the big day in Lancashire, England on Monday (11Apr11) and when a local reporter asked Middleton if she is feeling nervous, she replied, "Yes, of course I am."
