Emma Watson - Emma Watson And Rupert Grint Kiss To Make History
Emma Watson claims her kiss with co-star Rupert Grint in the final Harry Potter movie is "the most anticipated kiss in history". Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, said she and Grint had been building up the romantic tension over the past eight years.
Speaking during an interview with Itv's 'Daybreak' programme, Watson spoke in depth about locking lips with her long-time co-star, saying, "I think we did alright.I think that's like the most anticipated kiss in history. We've been building tension to this moment for like eight movies". The actress said she felt the pressure of the scene despite acting alongside Grint since 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' in 2001, saying, "We were like, 'People have been really waiting for this moment, and we've really got to pull this off'. And I was like 'yes, I know. What are we going to do?' 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2', the final movie of the eight films, has its premiere in London on Thursday (7th June 2011). Watson said she became emotional after wrapping up filming on the final movie, saying, "I cried, cried, cried, cried, cried - it was really emotional and overwhelming".
Despite finishing work on the 'Potter' movies, Emma Watson is currently working on a number of forthcoming projects. She will star alongside Michelle Williams in the Marilyn Monroe biopic 'My Week with Marilyn' before starring alongside Paul Rudd in 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'.
