Eminem Thrilled With Bruno Prank
Eminem is "thrilled" with the reaction to his and Sacha Baron Cohen's butt-thrusting stunt at the MTV Movie Awards.
The rapper has confirmed the pair planned the hilarious prank - which saw Sacha's scantily-clad alter-ego Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reporter, wrap his legs around Eminem's head and push his bare buttocks into his face - and insists it has worked out better than they could have imagined.
The 'Stan' hitmaker - who stormed out of the event in fake disgust - revealed: "I'm thrilled that we pulled this off, even better than we rehearsed. It had so many people going 'nuts' so to speak. Everyone was blowing up about it.
"After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours. Especially after I saw it air."
Eminem says Sacha asked him to participate in the stunt a few weeks ago and he had no hesitations about saying yes.
The hip-hop star explained: "Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag."
According to reports, Paris Hilton had been asked to be part of the prank at the ceremony - which was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre, in Universal City, California, on Sunday night (31.05.09) - but refused.
