Eminem Still Recovering At The Top Of The U.s. Charts

EMINEM has landed what looks like becoming a final week at the top of the U.S. album charts before KATY PERRY takes over.
In all, the rapper's Recovery has spent seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 album, becoming the first hip-hop release to do so since OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below spent seven weeks on top in 2003.
Kem scores the week's highest debut on the countdown at two with Intimacy, while acclaimed singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne lands at three with God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise, and rockers Iron Maiden, who stormed to the top of the British charts at the weekend (22Aug10), enter the chart at four with The Final Frontier.
Country star Trace Adkins rounds out the new top five by debuting Cowboy's Back In Town.
Katy Perry's new release Teenage Dream is expected to hit the number one spot in its first week on release next week (01Sep10).
