Actress Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski are making sure their married life is environmentally-friendly by purchasing a house which runs on renewable energy technology.

The couple bought a luxury home in Ojai, California back in June (12) for just over $2 million (£1.3 million) and the property boasts state-of-the-art eco-friendly power supplies, including giant solar panels, according to Tmz.com

The power-saving pad, which is built on the site of a former hotel, boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms as well as a swimming pool and guest house.

The British actress married The Office star in 2010.
