Elizabeth Banks Keeps In Touch With Child's Surrogate
Actress Elizabeth Banks is in constant contact with her baby's surrogate in the hope that the two can forge a relationship later in the future.
The Spider-Man 3 star and her husband Max Handelman welcomed little Felix last March (11) after having problems conceiving on their own, but, unlike others, they have no plans to cut ties with the woman who carried their son for nine months.
They want the boy to forever feel connected to his birth mother.
Banks tells Lucky magazine, "Inviting this person into your life to do this amazing, important thing for you... It's hard losing that kind of control. But our surrogate is so extraordinary, and she's still in our lives. She's like an auntie."
