Efron On Fire With Comic Book Role
Zac Efron is set for a hot new role as a comic book hero in a big screen adaptation of graphic novel Fire.
The High School Musical actor has signed up to star in the picture, which follows the story of a college student recruited by America's Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who then finds out he has been marked for termination by his employers.
Efron, 22, is also named as an executive producer on the project.
The actor was recently linked to a role in another comic book blockbuster - he admitted he's desperate to land a role in the rebooted Spider-Man franchise.
