Eddie Murphy Gets Engaged
Eddie Murphy's love life has hit the headlines once more as it is reported the Hollywood actor has become engaged.
According to reports, Murphy is set to tie the knot with his current girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, after presenting her with a huge engagement ring last week.
The producer is now said to be sporting the sparkler on her ring finger and a low-key wedding is being planned.
A spokesperson for Ms Edmonds said the pair became engaged last Wednesday.
"Tracey and Eddie are both very much in love and are excited about spending the rest of their lives together," the representative told People magazine.
No Doubt one person who will not be buying a hat for the wedding is former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.
The singer has just proven that Murphy is the father of her baby after a long tussle following their high-profile – and, reportedly for Mel B at least, unexpected – break-up.
But Ms Edmonds is said to not have been shaken by the paternity row, saying that it had "no impact" on her relationship with the Hollywood funnyman when rumours emerged earlier this month that a break-up may be on the cards.
