Eagles Of Death Metal Quit Guns N' Roses Tour
The group, fronted by JESSE HUGHES, were scheduled to perform as support to Guns N' Roses on 15 dates, which began on Friday (24NOV06) in Cleveland, Ohio.
But after Rose ridiculed the act - calling them "the pigeons of s**t metal" during his Cleveland performance - Hughes decided he didn't want any part of the tour.
In a statement released yesterday (27NOV06), Hughes confirmed the group had chosen to leave the tour, using Guns N' Roses hits to get his message across.
He said, "At first the audience refused to welcome us to the jungle, but by the time we took our final bow, it had become paradise city.
"Although Axl tried to November rain on our parade, no sweet child o' mine can derail the EODM night train. We say live and let die."
