Dyrdek's Show Hit With Lawsuit
In an episode of the show which aired in August (10), celebrity skateboarder Dyrdek and a pal were seen trying to locate the source of a nasty odour before pointing at a man in a street.
The man, who has not been identified, has now filed papers alleging he did not give permission for his image to be used, and claiming that after the broadcast "friends and relatives began teasing or mocking (him), buying him air freshener."
He also accuses Dyrdek of mocking his "gait", which he insists is caused by a medical condition called "spinal stenosis", according to TMZ.com.
In documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court, the man is demanding $25,000 compensation for the embarrassment suffered since the skit aired.
