Dylan Eyes Mccartney Duet

Folk legend BOB DYLAN has cleared the way for an historic collaboration - insisting he would be happy to record a duet with SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY.
Last year (08) the former Beatle announced that working with Dylan is one of his major ambitions, hailing the Blowin' In The Wind hitmaker as a musical "genius".
And MCCartney's dreams of a collaboration with Dylan could be about to come true - the notoriously reclusive star has admitted he would be open to the idea of a duet.
Dylan tells Rolling Stone magazine, "That would be exciting - to do something with Paul. But, you know, your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense."
And MCCartney's representatives are already working on getting the pair together.
A spokesman for the star says, "We heard this offer this morning and we're trying to let Paul know about it. I should think he would be very interested in hearing about it. As you can imagine, it would be a pretty major thing if it went ahead."

Dylan has said he wants to work with Paul, and in 2007 said in another Rolling Stone interview 'I'm in awe of McCartney. He's the only one I'm in awe of. He can do it all. And he's never let up. He's just so damn effortless.' So the feelings are mutual. I hope it goes ahead, this would be a truly historic moment
