DURAN DURAN have extended their best wishes to ex bandmate ANDY TAYLOR for his upcoming tell-all autobiography.
The guitarist has reportedly accepted a six-figure book deal to write a salacious account of life in the rock band, which he quit in 1985 to form The Power Station and work on solo projects. He rejoined Duran Duran in 2001, only to leave again last year (06).
But his former bandmates insist they bear no ill-will towards Taylor, and aren't afraid of the material he could publish about them.
Duran Duran spokesman Gerard Franklin says, "They have lived quite amazing lifestyles. It has been very fast paced, from meeting people like Andy Warhol to Princess Diana. I'm sure it'll be an interesting read. The band wish Andy well."
