Duncan Jones - Duncan Jones Shaped Up After David Bowie's Heart Scare

The Moon director admits he was stunned when the rock star was forced to undergo emergency surgery for a blocked artery in 2004 because his father had always appeared to be in good health.

But Jones insists the heart scare served as a necessary wake-up call for both him and his dad.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "He's always been so virile and healthy, it was a shocker. We both made the important decision to shape up a bit. I think we took our relationship for granted and it brought us closer."
