Duke Of Edinburgh Is On The Mend
Queen Elizabeth II's husband the Duke Of Edinburgh is "responding well" as he receives hospital treatment for a bladder infection.
Prince Philip was admitted to a medical centre in Scotland on Wednesday (15Aug12) with a recurrence of the illness he suffered in June (12), when he spent five nights in hospital recovering.
Now Buckingham Palace officials have released a statement confirming the Duke is likely to remain in hospital for a "few more days" but is steadily recovering.
The statement reads: "The Duke of Edinburgh is responding well to treatment. It is unclear when he will be discharged, but he is likely to remain in hospital for a few more days."
