Welsh singer DUFFY has reportedly parted ways with the manager who guided her to stardom.
The star, full name Aimee Ann Duffy, was signed up by manager Jeannette Lee of Rough Trade Records in 2004 when she was a struggling singer and part-time waitress. Lee moved Duffy from her native Wales to London and the singer then shot to fame with her hit 2008 single Mercy. Duffy's debut album, Rockferry, sold millions of copies worldwide and landed her a Grammy Award.
But the star has now reportedly parted ways with Lee following creative differences.
A source tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "Duffy claims Lee wanted her to do cheesy TV shows, when Duffy wants her career to be just about her music."
