Caroline Issa worries Duchess Catherine ''overshadows'' LK Bennett.
The designer has created a capsule collection for the footwear brand but thinks people often overlook their stylish creations and only associate the firm with the court shoes favoured by the duchess, who was known as Kate Middleton before her marriage to Prince William.
Speaking in this week's edition of Britain's Grazia magazine , Caroline said: ''LK Bennett is the classic go-to brand for quality, chic styles but sometimes I think the Middleton effect overshadows what else they have on offer, so it's great to be able to offer something so fashion-forward.''
When it comes to her own sense of style, Caroline dresses to suit her footwear.
She explained: ''I dress from the feet upwards. I'd say my style is all about classics with a quirky twist, but I love a crazy, fun shoe - whether I'm in jeans or a cocktail dress, the shoes always come first.''
''You need a shoe for every mood, don't you?''
