Drake has a ''studio bus'' on the road with him.
The rapper is currently in the middle of his Club Paradise US tour and will officially begin recording his next album immediately after it finishes next month, but he has already done some work for other artists while he is travelling.
He told MTV News: ''I'm really excited to start working on new music. I start like June 18.
''I got a studio bus out here so me and 40 started working on a couple joints the other night. Just getting warmed up. I did like the 'Amen' track for Meek [Mill] and I did 'No Lie' for 2Chainz.''
The 'Over' hitmaker is particularly excited for fans to hear his appearance on French Montana's track 'Pop That', which features a host of guest artists.
He said: ''I'm on French Montana's single; me, him, [Rick] Ross and [Lil] Wayne, which is a crazy lineup.
''And then on Justin Bieber's record. I wrote a song for him as well.''
However, Drake joked he wasn't sure whether the track, 'Right Here', would make it on to the teenage singer's forthcoming 'Believe' album.
Speaking before the record's track listing was released by Justin this week, he joked: ''Awkward Justin Bieber moment. Yeah, we'll see. It's a good song though; produced by Hit-Boy.''
