Drake Lands Souvenir From Hockey Hero
Hip-hop star Drake landed a special memento after performing at the Nhl All-Stars game on Sunday (29Jan12) - he was gifted with Russian superstar Evgeni Malkin's hockey stick.
The rapper returned to his native Canada for the annual ice hockey event and told the Ottawa, Ontario crowd it was an "honour" to be asked to perform at the special game.
And Drake walked away with a special keepsake after meeting his hockey hero, Pittsburgh Penguins centre Evgeni 'Geno' Malkin.
In a post on Twitter.com after the game, he wrote, "Thanks to everybody at Nhl for an amazing night! All the players that showed love and all the fans! I got Gino's (sic) game stick!!!!!"
