Dr. Dre To Produce New Crime Drama

Rapper Dr. Dre is making a move into TV after signing up to produce a new crime drama.

The hip-hop legend will act as executive producer on a series based on the criminal underworld and the music industry in Los Angeles.

The show will be written by Sidney Quashie and will air on America's FX network.

An hour-long pilot episode is expected to debut next year (13).
