Bosses behind hit British Tv show Downton Abbey are planning to launch a homeware range based on the popular period drama.
The series, which stars Dame Maggie Smith and Hugh Bonneville, has become a huge international hit and producers are planning to capitalise on the show's success by creating a vintage-style merchandise brand.
The homeware collection will include crockery, pots and pans, and other kitchen items.
Producer Gareth Neame tells the New York Post, "We're looking into merchandising. Homeware. Crockery, pots and pans. Kitchen items. Merchandising takes time. It's a slower burner... We'll even do household decorations like candlesticks."
From October 6th, the public will be able to take guided tours of Prince's sprawling home and studio complex in Chanhassen, Minneapolis.
