Christie's bosses are staging an online auction for the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and dinner at Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England before staying overnight in the rooms used by characters Lady Sybil, Lady Edith and Lady Cora.
The visit is expected to sell for at least $17,000 (£10,000), and other lots in the auction include a tour of the State Rooms, lessons in laying a dining table by Highclere butlers, a cooking class in the kitchen from the castle's chef, and a three-course Champagne meal.
The sale starts on Friday (01Aug14) and continues until 14 August. It is being held in aid of Armed Forces charities in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War in 1914.
