Dot To Dot Festival 2012 Line Up: Pulled Apart By Horses And The Drums

DOT TO DOT Festival has announced the first wave of acts, which include The Drums and Pulled Apart By Horses. The event will take place at a number of venues in Bristol; Manchester and Nottingham once again, over the first weekend in June 2012, which will also be the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

Unlike other festivals, Dot to Dot does not employ artist rotation; instead, the acts all play in one city, before travelling to the next. The festival is also renowned for giving ticket holders a glimpse of some of the biggest acts today, such as The xx; Florence and the MAChine; Mumford and Sons and Ed Sheeran.

The Drums achieved success in 2011 with their second studio album Portamento. The lead single from the album, Money, was a huge hit in the summer. Pulled Apart By Horses, too, had similar success in 2011, with the re-release of I Punched A Lion In The Throat and new single V.E.N.O.M.

Dot to Dot organiser Anton Lockwood said: 'More than ever Dot To Dot 2012 will see a great line up of exciting new music alongside the hottest live acts at the moment. Our first announcement of indie titans The Drums and fast rising rockers Pulled Apart by Horses sets the tone for Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester to each have a great day of fresh and exciting music.'

Such new acts include Lucy Rose; Summer Camp; Willy Mason and Dog Is Dead. Tickets for all the venues are value for money at just £20 and are now on sale through the festival's website.
