Dorff's Tears At Somewhere Screening

Stephen Dorff was so overcome with emotion during the screening of his movie SOMEWHERE at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year (10), he broke down in tears.

The Blade star plays a bad-boy actor whose life is changed when his young daughter comes to stay in the Sofia Coppola film.

The movie, which is due for release next year (11), was unveiled at the Italian gala in September (10), where Coppola scooped the coveted Golden Lion prize.

And Dorff was so moved when his father and brother congratulated him on his performance, he feared he would weep like Gywneth Paltrow in her infamous 1999 Oscars acceptance speech.

He tells Total Film magazine, "I was like, 'Oh, s**t. I don't want to pull a Gwyneth Paltrow here! Hold it together!'"
