Stephen Dorff - Dorff Fond Of Co-star Fanning

The pair teamed up to play father and daughter in the Sofia Coppola-directed drama and 12-year-old Fanning admits Dorff's paternal portrayal spilled over into real-life.

She tells America's Vanity Fair magazine, "We had a big rehearsal period. Stephen picked me up from my school, and he came to one of my volleyball games. He had these long (hair) extensions in for a movie he was doing, so all my friends were looking at this guy, like: 'Who is that?'"

The film is set for release next month (Dec10).
