"Don't Let Them": Did Janet Jackson Stop Kids From Seeing Grandma?
Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince has denounced his aunts and uncles, accusing them of lying to his grandmother Katherine Jackson. The 15-year-old broke his silence on the Jackson family crisis in a series of tweets, which have since been deleted.
He also posted a screenshot of a group text message conversation between himself and his relatives in which he asserts, "This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!". Tellingly, a reply from Janet Jackson simply reads, "Don't let them pls". The message appears to continue, though Prince did not post the rest of it. In a separate tweet following the return of Katherine, Prince said, "Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I'm really angry and hurt", adding, "For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth". The remarks came after news that Katherine has been stripped of the legal guardianship of Michael's three children Prince, Paris and Blanket with Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son TJ named their temporary guardian. There appears to be a huge divide in the Jackson family at the moment, with one side, Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie, reportedly battling the children, their lawyers and Marlon Jackson. The first group apparently burst into the children's home last week demanding that they come with them. Police were called and "two male adults became violent", according to the UK's Guardian newspaper.
Reports last week had suggested that the Jackson siblings - Janet especially - were unhappy with Paris' decision to begin her movie career. She will star in the adventure film 'Lundon Bridge and the Three Keys' in 2013.
