Donny And Marie Osmond Axe Show
Veteran pop star Donny Osmond and his sister Marie called off their Las Vegas variety show on Tuesday (04Sep12) after she fell sick.
The singing siblings have enjoyed a residency at the Flamingo hotel and casino since 2008, but they were forced to miss a concert this week when 52-year-old Marie came down with a mystery illness.
Donny took to Twitter.com to apologise to fans, writing, "Sorry to all of those who came to our show tonight. It was cancelled. Marie was quite ill. She said all should be better by tomorrow."
Marie also tweeted to assure fans she will be back onstage in no time, adding, "(I will be) back (at) Flamingo Vegas... with ol' what's his face (Donny)..."
