Dominic Cooper To Star In Brosnan's November Man

Dominic Cooper will star in 'November Man'.

The 'Mamma Mia' actor will join the cast of Pierce Brosnan's passion project based on Bill Granger's novel 'There are No Spies', which is part of a series of bestselling espionage novels.

The film tells the story of an ex-CIA operative (Pierce) who is brought back on a personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil (Dominic) in a deadly game involving high-level US officials and the Russian president-elect.

'Dante's Peak' filmmaker Roger Donaldson is on board to direct while there are hopes to turn the movie into a franchise through Pierce's production company Irish DreamTime.

Pierce said: '''November Man' has been a labour of love for both me and my company. I'm looking forward to working with The Solution and reuniting with both Roger and Dominic as we prepare to make a great film.''

Beau St. Clair, Pierce's partner at DreamTime said: ''We all believe that the Bill Granger novels and the character of Devereaux feel like the perfect vehicle for Pierce.''

Pierce and Dominic previously worked together on 'Mamma Mia'.
