Doherty And Macchio Head To The Theatre
Eighties teen icons SHANNEN DOHERTY and RALPH MACCHIO are teaming up to star in a new theatre project.
The actors have been recruited for a New York reading of A Room Of My Own, which producers are hoping to take to the Broadway stage.
The play follows a playwright's attempts to write about his Italian-American upbringing.
Heathers star Doherty will play a nun alongside Karate Kid MACchio and comedian Mario Cantone in the reading on 20 September, reports Daily Variety.
