'Dogs In The City' Sees Justin Silver Chat To New York Canines
A new primetime CBS series called 'Dogs in the City' premieres on Wednesday night (May 30, 2012), following a young man named Justin Silver, who takes care of city slicker dogs in New York.
In the season premiere, Mr Silver claims one out of eight New Yorkers owns a dog, and he seeks to help owners who have lost their connection with their pooches in the paved metropolis. For example, Justin meets a businesswoman named Elli who insists on taking her dog Charlotte to work, even though she tries to attack anyone who walks through the door. Silver appears to possess a talent for having private chats with the misbehaving dogs, and tells Charlotte, "I know exactly what's going on up there. You think I don't know what it's like to have a co-dependent mother?" While working on another case, Mr Silver explains, "What I do is, I pay more attention to the people, and I'm watching the way the dog is reacting to what the person is telling me.So my job, I'm really more of an interpreter between the dog and the person".
'Dogs in the City' - an hour-long summer reality series - will air on Wednesdays, starting tonight on Cbs at 8pm.
