Kim Kardashian and Beyonce warmly embraced each other at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (July 1, 2012) as they arrived with their respective other halves. Both dressed elegantly for the occasion, Kim and Beyonce chatted throughout the ceremony, finally putting to bed rumors of a rift, reports the UK's Sun newspaper.

Kardashian rocked a white, backless zip dress with slicked back hair that was almost identical to the gown that actress Eva Marcille wore. The 31-year-old chose not to mention it when tweeting, "I'm so happy for my baby tonight! Dope performance & won some BET Awards!" Not being able to put her phone down for the evening, she later tweeted, "How are you guys liking Keeping Up...??? I loved our family vacation... Memories". Meanwhile, Beyonce opted for a lime coloured dress with thigh high split and wild, curly hair. She picked up Best Female R&B Artist, while Kanye and Jay Z scooped the evening's top prize for 'Best Video', as well as 'Best Group'. Elsewhere at the ceremony, Nicki Minaj - who joined Kim and Beyonce on the front row - scooped 'Best Hip-Hop Act', while Mariah Carey delivered a touching tribute to Whitney Houston. After speaking fondly of her friend, Mariah told Twitter followers, "Just got off stage at BET Awards. Had an emotional moment paying tribute to my incredible friend Whitney Houston, RIP".

Kim Kardashian began dating Kanye shortly after splitting from her husband Kris Humphries last year. The former couple are still going through divorce proceedings, with Humphries reportedly claiming the reality star only married him to improve ratings on her E! show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'.
