Dmx - Dmx Hit With Lawsuit Over Comeback Tour
Troubled rapper Dmx is heading for another court showdown after a booking agency hit him with a $750,000 (£469,000) lawsuit over a doomed comeback tour.
The hip-hop star signed a deal with Heavy Rotation in 2011 giving over full international rights to book his gigs for 12 months, but no shows came to fruition.
Bosses at the company have now filed documents in New York blaming Dmx's litany of legal woes - including a traffic offence and two child support cases - for preventing him from performing overseas, alleging the ill-fated deal cost the company $749,285 (£468,303).
But Dmx appears set to fight the lawsuit, with his manager insisting he cut all ties with Heavy Rotation because it indulged in "unsavoury business practices", according to Tmz.com.
