Dmx Behind On Tax Payments
Rapper DMX has fallen behind on his taxes - he reportedly owes the state of New York $1.5 million (£937,500) in back payments.
The hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, and his wife Tashera allegedly had a tax lien filed against them by New York officials earlier this year (09), in addition to two claims for $33,457 (£20,910) and $370,460 (£231,538) in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
He also failed to pay a whopping $663,553 (£414,721) in income tax from earnings in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
DMX isn't the only rapper to be hit with a big tax bill - Nas, Method Man, Snoop Dogg and MC Hammer are also among the stars in financial predicaments.
