Django Unchained Stays Chained To First Place In Sales, Rentals
For the second week in a row, Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained remained the top-selling home video release, according to Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. It was also No. 1 in rentals, said Home Media magazine. Coming in second in sales was Warner Bros.' Gangster Squad, starring Sean Penn, followed in third place by Universal's A Haunted House. The runner-up on the rental chart for the second consecutive week was Universal's This Is 40. Fox's Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler, debuted in third place on the rental chart.
