Dj Tiesto - Dj Tiesto Vows To Match Aids Charity Donations

20 December 2012

The Dutch star joined the (Red) campaign earlier this year (12) and has already helped to raise money for the anti-Aids organisation, which benefits the United Nations Foundation with an all-star album, Dance (Red), Save Lives.

Now he is calling on fans to join him by pledging funds to the (Red) donation page on Crowdrise.com - and he will match each one up to $100,000 (£62,500) for a limited period.

Those who donate will also be entered into a competition to win a trip to see Tiesto perform live on New Year's Eve (31Dec12), as well as other prizes.

Tiesto, real name Tijs Verwest, can certainly afford the generous gesture - he was recently named the world's highest-paid Dj after earning $22 million (£13.75 million) in the past year, according to Forbes magazine.
