Dj Fresh is unsure if his latest single can beat Gary Barlow's Diamond Jubilee song to the number one spot in the UK singles chart this weekend.

'The Power', featuring the lyrical styling of Dizzee Rascal, was set to become the DJ and producer's third number one, continuing the success of his previous chart toppers 'Louder' and 'Hot right now'.

However, following a rousing performance outside Buckingham Palace by the Commonwealth band, at the jubilee concert on Monday (04.06.12), 'Sing', the celebratory anthem penned by Gary, is now on course to take the top spot.

Speaking of the effects jubilee fever has had on music sales, DJ Fresh exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''We don't know how well it's going to chart. Obviously it's a difficult week with the jubilee single, but it's been getting a really amazing amount of support.

''It's the first track that I've done that's not drum and bass or dubstep so its new territory for me, it's really great to see something like that getting such an amazing reaction.''

Working with Dizzee Rascal was also a pleasant surprise for the DJ as the rapper shared his uncompromising attention to detail.

The former 'Bad Company' frontman declared: ''Dizzee has a really strong work ethic. I was quite surprised about that, I didn't really know that much about how he works, but he's really on the case and is a total perfectionist about the final product, like I am. It was really great working with him.''
