Dita Von Teese has a room dedicated to hats.

The burlesque dancer is a huge fan of headwear and has so many different ones she has to store them away in a dedicated area.

She said: "I have a huge collection of hats - I have a whole room dedicated to them so that's a lot of hat. You have to be brave to wear a hat. Wearing a hat says: 'I have confidence and I don't mind if people are looking at me.' "

While she loves hats, Dita won't allow anyone else to put one on her, saying: "I have to put a hat on myself. There's just something about wearing it the right way, getting the right tilt, it's super important."

This is not the first time Dita has said she doesn't like other people dressing her and recently revealed how she refuses to use a stylist as she wants to choose outfits herself.

She said: "Every celebrity today seems to hire a stylist to choose their clothes. I admire Women like Daphne Guinness and the late Isabella Blow - women that took risks and have their own personal style without having to pay someone to do it."
