Jennifer Aniston "loves" directing.

The 42-year-old star - who recently took her first go at filmmaking on 'Project Five', about the impact of breast cancer on people's lives - was happy to get the opportunity to step behind the camera because she has spent so many years in front.

She said: "I actually the directing experience because, having been acting for as long as I have, I've been observing for so many years."

The 'Horrible Bosses' star is particularly pleased because she hasn't had any formal training but still managed to know what she was doing when working on the project, which also features segments directed by Demi Moore and Alicia Keys.

She said: "It was fun to discover how much you actually know even not having gone to a Film School of any sort.

"There's an instinct from just being around it as many years as I have so I enjoyed it."
