Dio's Encino Mansion Is Most Desirable Los Angeles Musician Property
05 January 2011The Heaven & Hell rocker died from stomach cancer last May (10) and his family put the five bedroom, five bathroom, English manor-style home up for sale in September (10) for $3.3 million (£2.2 million).
The estate, which also boasts 200-year-old wood floors from France, a 19th century English pub, and stained antique windows from the 18th and 19th centuries, came first in LA Weekly's Top L.A. Musician Mansions For Sale poll.
Kanye West's $3.9 million (£2.6 million) Hollywood Hills property came second, while the seven bedroom Holmby Hills mansion Michael Jackson was renting when he died placed third.
Also mentioned in the top 10 are: Blink-182's Tom DeLonge (fourth), Beck (sixth), Christina Aguilera (eighth) and Britney Spears (10th).
