Diddy Keen To Settle Punch-up Out Of Court
LATEST: Rap mogul Sean Combs is keen to settle what he's calling "a disagreement among acquaintances" before his alleged Saturday night (13Oct07) punch-up lands him in court.
The rapper reportedly lashed out at Steven Acevedo during an altercation at New York's Kiosk nightclub.
Combs' attorney Benjamin Brafman has confirmed his client has not been arrested or charged in connection with the incident.
He says, "We are hopeful that this matter will be resolved without the filing of any criminal charges as this was a disagreement among acquaintances, not a criminal assault."
Combs is alleged to have hit Acevedo twice, leaving his rival with a bloodied nose and swollen lip.
