Diddy has been charged with attacking his son Justin's American Football coach.

The 45-year-old rapper is believed to have assaulted strength and conditioning trainer Sal Alosi with a metal weight after he yelled at the 21 year old during a practise at UCLA's training complex at around 12:30 p.m on Monday (22.06.15).

Following the incident - in which the star is alleged to have threatened Alosi with a kettlebell - UCLA's head football coach Jim Mora issued a statement saying: ''I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved.

''[UCLA] will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time''.

The 'Bad Boy For Life' hitmaker is said to have become angry at how hard the coach was working his son and by his confrontational approach.

He has now been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery, reports gossip website TMZ.

However, the rap star has denied he sparked the incident and insisted Alosi was the aggressor rather than himself.
